Cristiano Ronaldo - Talented Footballer, Heartthrob and now Dad!

Cristiano Ronaldo, star footballer, for both Real Madrid and Portugal, is now a father. That's right you heard it. He is the proud daddy to a baby boy. It was announced on the twenty-five year old's Facebook,Twitter and official website but the identity of the baby's mother is still unknown.

He has said: "It is with great joy and emotion that I inform I have recently become a father to a baby boy.

"As agreed with the baby's mother, who prefers to have her identity kept confidential, my son will be under my exclusive guardianship."

His mother, Delores as well as his sisters Elma and Katia are in the process of taking the child to Portugal, Ronaldo's country of birth where he will be raised.

His current girlfriend, Irina Shayk, has announced the arrival of his baby as well stating: " My boyfriend is now the father of a boy."

There is much speculation as to who the mother may be, but Cristiano has vowed to remain mum. The baby, named after the footballer, himself, will be cared for by Cristiano and his family.
